Addie McBane, Emergency Veterinarian
Dr. Addie McBane grew up in Montana, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Organismal Biology from the University of Montana in Missoula, minoring in Spanish. She completed veterinary school at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and has completed training in acupuncture through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Florida. Dr. McBane’s interests include emergency and critical care medicine, soft tissue surgery, endocrinology, hematology, and feline medicine. She also enjoys shelter work and outreach, and has volunteered with the Humane Society Rural Area Veterinary Services, helping run high-volume spay and neuter and wellness clinics in under served areas. When not working in the ER, Dr. McBane can be found hiking, kayaking, running, doing yoga, traveling, or spending time with her dog and cat. Dr. McBane is proud to be a Fear Free Certified Professional, and pledges to hold each pet's emotional as well as physical well-being in mind at all times.
