He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and now joins VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital as a first-year associate veterinarian with special interests in cardiology, surgery, and exotic animal medicine.

His commitment to veterinary medicine began early through volunteer work with Sarasota County Animal Services and shadowing experiences in surgery, ophthalmology, and orthopedics. He further expanded his skills through an internship with Jungle Adventure, where he gained hands-on experience working with alligators, snakes, birds and large cats such as the Florida panther.

Dr. Driggs brings more than eight years of clinical experience to our team, having worked extensively as a veterinary technician in general practice, cardiology specialty, and wildlife care settings. His background includes anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, ICU patient care, ECG and echocardiogram setup, laboratory diagnostics, medical record documentation, and client communication. He is also experienced in training support staff and operating efficiently in fast-paced specialty environments.

Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Driggs is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys working out, boating, kayaking, hiking, camping, dirt biking, and playing sports. He shares his home with his cat, Simba.
