Dr. Gabriela C. Hernandez Jimenez was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, where her passion for animals and medicine first began. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at the University of Missouri. Her primary areas of interest include emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery, where she enjoys the dynamic pace and complexity of patient care. Dr. Hernandez practiced veterinary medicine in Puerto Rico for a year and a half before relocating to Miami to continue growing professionally and personally.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, relaxing at the beach, and exploring new culinary spots. She is also a proud owner of a four-year-old French Bulldog who keeps her on her toes and brings endless joy to her life.
