Dr. Chris Hovenden was born and raised in Salem, Oregon.
Dr. Hovenden completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University (OSU) College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after completing his Bachelor's degree from OSU in 2001. His professional focus is emergency and critical care, and he has been practicing emergency medicine in Salem since 2005.
He lives in Salem with his wife, two daughters, and the family dog. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and archery.
