A 2015 VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine DVM graduate, Dr. Sarah Giambuzzi joined the Salem practice in 2019, relocating from Virginia.  

Dr. Sarah, as she likes to be called, received her Bachelor's from West Chester University in 2005, her Master's from Penn State University in 2009 and was certified as a veterinary acupuncturist at Colorado State University in 2014. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. 

Dr. Sarah's primary areas of interest are critical care, soft tissue surgery and pain management/acupuncture. 

She has a huge soft spot and love for pit bull-type dogs and yorkies. Dr. Sarah ran a non-profit focusing primarily on pit bulls for eight years.  

She loves the Willamette Valley for the great outdoors and the terrific food, wine and microbrews. When she's not working or teaching a Zumba class, she may be found at home with her husband and three dogs
