Emily transferred here in 2025 after spending 2.5 years at VCA South Dade Animal Hospital in Florida, and we're so happy she did! She enjoys client education and providing compassionate support to our clients and patients. Emily's prior experience with cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles is invaluable in her role at VCA Wakefield, and her enthusiasm is evident in the excellent client and patient care she provides daily.
Emily is currently completing her associate's degree in veterinary technology with Penn Foster, and she expects to become a certified veterinary technician in the future. Emily previously earned an Associate in Arts degree from Miami Dade College. She also earned a Cat Friendly Program Certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (2024), and she completed VCA's Anesthesia Certificate Program (2025).
Originally from Florida, Emily currently lives north of Boston with her partner, a pit bull mix named Xyla, and a conure named Dandy. When she's not working, Emily enjoys reading, going to the gym, traveling, visiting the beach, and water activities such as Jet-skis.
