Dr. Annie Kim earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences. Upon graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship here at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center which led to her continuing her career at ASEC as a hospitalist in our Internal Medicine department.
She was born in Korea, raised in Guam and Southern California has experience in small animal medicine, wildlife conservation, and marine mammal rehabilitation.
Dr. Kim provides genuine care to all of her patients and can be found on our Internal Medicine service Thursday through Saturday. Outside the hospital, she enjoys traveling, beach activities, discovering new coffee shops and restaurants, watching sunsets, and spending time with her two beloved cats, Evan and Bori.
