Dr. Thurston is originally from sunny San Diego, California. She received both her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Thurston's professional interests are in Emergency Medicine, Community Medicine, and Exotics. In her free time, Dr. Thurston enjoys hiking, baking, rock climbing, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog (Dakota). After completing a one year rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Thurston is excited to return to California and join the VCA Mueller family.
