Hello, my name is Montana and I am a veterinary assistant at VCA A Plus Animal Hospital. I am from California and moved to Reno with my family. I joined the veterinary field since I have been an equine owner for over 16 years and my experience with equine medicine encouraged me to join small animal practice care too. My educational background includes being a current college student to further my education and obtain my license as an LVT. My interests include eventually working at an emergency center and furthering my career in equine studies. I have three animals—a 2-year-old border collie named Ledoux, who is cow and horse obsessed; an 18-year-old miniature horse named Skeeter, who is a firecracker; and, a 3-year-old chunky tuxedo cat, who loves to eat named Yuki. In my free time, you’ll find me horseback riding.
