Shayna completed her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2014. Born in California and raised in the Wisconsin Northwoods, she moved to Indiana in 2015 and has been with VCA since 2016. She has a passion for all aspects of care and treatment of the neurologic patient - from the initial neurologic examination to diagnosis with advanced imaging and long-term management of patients through medications, surgery, and physical therapy.
When not at the hospital, you can find Shayna spending time with her husband and their four fur-children: Faye - a chocolate pup, Ori - a hydrocephalic chocolate pup, Osiris - an epileptic cat, and Poppy - a Dutch Warmblood that she competes with in the Hunter/Jumper arena.
