Mia has been with VCA All Pets Salinas since 2018. She started off as an intern with us from Carrington College and was hired as a receptionist/veterinary assistant while continuing her education on the path to receiving her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Mia became interested in veterinary medicine with her chameleon, Skittles. She loved and learned so much about him!

Mia's skills have grown tremendously over her time with VCA All Pets Salinas and in 2021 she received her RVT license. Her favorite part about being an RVT is being able to help animals' health and well-being.

Mia has three pets: a dog, a cat and a snake! In her spare time, she loves to hike, garden and travel. A personal goal of hers is to be able to work with monkeys or in a primate lab.
