Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Robertson was born and raised in central Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, earning her VMD degree. After graduation, Dr. Robertson completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Tufts University in Massachusetts. After completion of her internship, Dr. Robertson worked as an emergency veterinarian in New Jersey prior to pursuing further specialization, where she continued to foster her passion for treating the most unstable pets and guiding their families through their care and decision-making process. Seeking further specialized training, Dr. Robertson began her move west to complete a small animal emergency and critical care residency at the Ohio State University. Upon completion of her residency, we are happy to say that Dr. Robertson has accepted a position at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists.
Dr. Robertson's professional interests include shock, fluid therapy and resuscitation, sepsis, postoperative critical care, and multidisciplinary medicine. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Robertson enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her dogs, Kimbo and Harper, trying new foods, indoor gardening, and tabletop gaming.
