Nicole Makowsky, DVM, is a dedicated veterinarian at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. Before attending vet school, Dr. Makowsky worked as a vetrinary assistant in San Diego for two years, where she developed a passion for preventative medicine and cardiology. Originally from San Diego, Dr. Makowsky enjoys building relationships with clients to provide the best care for their loved ones. Outside of work, she loves photography, reading and traveling with her husband, Ben. She shares her home with two beloved dogs, Murphy, a Corgi, and Ellie, a Golden Retriever.
