Dr. Dyer graduated from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After graduation, he joined the staff at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital. He then went on to complete a residency in Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston in 2002, and in 2005 he became board certified in avian medicine by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He was a member of the staff at VCA South Shore from 2007 through 2014, and rejoined the staff in 2017.
Dr. Dyer has expertise in the treatment of all non-traditional pet species. He is proficient in everything from endoscopy in birds to ultrasound examinations in ferrets, and welcomes consultations with all species of amphibians, reptiles, birds and small mammals.
