Dr. Mandy Yu received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology degree as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Guelph. Following graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto before continuing to work there as an emergency clinician. Her professional interests include polytrauma, shock, and critical patient management. In order to escape the cold Canadian winters, she moved to sunny San Diego and now enjoys her time way from hospital reading at the beach, hiking around California, eating at new restaurants, and going on walks with her cat, Harrison.
