Dr. Payton Zarnik is excited to join the VCA Civano team as a veterinarian and continue her career in small animal medicine. She has lived in Tucson for several years and has enjoyed working as a veterinary technician at multiple small animal practices throughout the area.
Dr. Zarnik has a particular interest in small animal emergency and critical care and enjoys the fast-paced, challenging nature of emergency medicine. She looks forward to growing her skills, working alongside the Civano team, and providing compassionate care to her patients and their families.
Outside of work, Dr. Zarnik enjoys horseback riding with her gelding, Sven, baking, reading, and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Teddy!
