Sydney is an Arizona native and earned she bachelor's degree in veterinary science at the University of Arizona in 2017. She also attended U of A for veterinary school, where she gained an appreciation for small animal emergency medicine and cardiology. During veterinary school she was a member of the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, which gave her valuable experiences in emergency medicine prior to graduation. Before attending veterinary school, she worked as a kennel technician here at VCA Civano Animal Hospital and ER Center, where she learned valuable skills that would help her along the way. Outside of work, her hobbies include playing pickleball and softball, and attending U of A sporting events with friends and family.
