Dr. Jost is originally from the Indianapolis area and is excited to return home. She attended Purdue University for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. During this time, she had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Budelsky as a veterinary student, which helped foster her love of ophthalmology. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship at the University of Georgia, followed by a specialty internship at BluePearl in Clearwater and Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Jost completed her comparative ophthalmology residency at Colorado State University, where she became an avid hiker with her husband. She loves all animals, and has extensive experience with both large and small animal species, along with exotics. Dr. Jost has a particular interest in corneal diseases, corneal surgery, and exotic ophthalmology, which is a niche service she will be offering at AVCC! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, coffee shops, and spending time outdoors with her husband, dog, and two cats.
