Dr. Potts was born and raised in Indianapolis and is happy to be back home again. She attended Purdue University for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary school, during which time she discovered her love of neurology while shadowing Purdue's veterinary neurology team. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship here at VCA AVCC, followed by a specialty neurology internship at Southeast Veterinary Neurology of Boynton Beach in south Florida. She then completed her Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at The Ohio State University, where she participated in research on the MRI findings of large-breed dogs with and without Degenerative Lumbosacral Stenosis (DLSS). Outside of the hospital, Dr. Potts enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
