Dr. Lauren Kramer, an Indiana native, attended Purdue University and received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She went on to graduate veterinary school from Ross University in 2008 and she completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. She then went on to complete a rotating internship in Los Angeles and spent three years of further training in small animal surgery in southern California, Louisiana and South Carolina. She has most recently worked as an emergency doctor in specialty hospitals in southern California and Indiana. Dr. Kramer enjoys the challenge of emergency medicine and has a special interest in trauma and toxicology. During her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and traveling. She has one cat and two dogs that are all rescues from the various places she has lived.
