Dr. Katie Lehman was raised in central California and attended Fresno State for undergrad for a bachelor's in biology and minor in chemistry. During that time, she worked for an equine surgeon and thought that is what she wanted to do. She then went to Michigan State University (go green!) for veterinary school where she started to develop an interest in imaging. After graduation, she completed an equine rotating internship at NC State followed by a rotating small animal internship at a private practice near Nashville, TN. Then, she returned to NC State for her residency in diagnostic imaging. In her free time, her husband and their dog love to be outdoors, visiting the mountains, and spending time with family.
