Dr. Tricia Tai was born and raised in Southern California. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She obtained her veterinary degree from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Los Angeles for a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA California Animal Hospital. Dr. Tai recently finished a three-year residency program in Neurology at a private practice in Orlando, Florida. She is interested in all aspects of medical neurology and neurosurgery. Dr. Tai is thrilled to be back in Southern California, as are her two furry Pomeranians, Ginger and Mona. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing on the beach, snowboarding, cooking, and reading.

Dr. Tai sees both medical and surgical neurology cases at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital Wednesday through Saturday, and colleague Dr. Veronique Sammut, DVM, DACVIM/Neurology, sees neurology patients Sunday through Tuesday, providing Neurology Department coverage for our patients seven days a week.
