Dr. Brittney Stanton grew up in Southeast Michigan, in the Metro Detroit area. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Albion College followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Following graduation, Dr. Stanton returned to Michigan to complete a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Grand Rapids. She then went on to complete an oncology specialty internship at the University of Pennsylvania followed by her radiation oncology residency at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Stanton recently moved to the Los Angeles area and is excited to be working with the team at VCA West Los Angeles. While she enjoys all aspects of radiation oncology, Dr. Stanton has a particular interest in brain and nasal tumors, especially utilizing stereotactic radiation therapy. Outside of work, Dr. Stanton is an avid equestrian and skier and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
