Dr. Joshua Liu earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, where he developed a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and a passion for helping pets and their families navigate complex medical conditions.
Originally from California's Bay Area, Dr. Liu is particularly interested in the management of cardiac emergencies and values working closely with pet owners to help their companions achieve the best possible quality of life. He is dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care and enjoys collaborating with families and referring veterinarians to develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Dr. Liu is also passionate about education and mentorship and enjoys supporting pre-veterinary and veterinary students as they pursue careers in the profession.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Liu enjoys exploring hiking trails, discovering new restaurants, and watching baseball. He shares his home with two dogs and two cats, whose personalities and companionship continually reinforce his commitment to the human-animal bond.
