Dr. Leah Pomerantz is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She is Californian through and through—she was born and raised in Santa Monica, completed her Bachelor's degree at Pitzer College in Claremont, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of California Davis. She then completed her rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and spent the following year in the Bay Area working as an ER veterinarian. She finally moved out of the state for her radiology residency at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. Now, after completing her residency in New England and having experienced a few real winters, Dr. Pomerantz is happy to be back in sunny California and again at VCA West Los Angeles.
Dr. Pomerantz brings a generalized expertise in diagnostic imaging, with a special interest in ultrasound and CT.
Outside of work, Dr. Pomerantz is an avid cook and foodie and enjoys spending time with her husband and one-eyed rescue black Lab, Tom Bombadil.
