Dr. Gabrielle Carter is a Board Certified Medical Oncologist. She grew up in Michigan and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Carter completed both her internship and medical oncology residency at VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Carlsbad, CA. Dr. Carter has had a long-standing passion for homeless animals and has volunteered a considerable amount of her time to local and international shelters in a genuine effort to support this population.
Dr. Carter's clinical interest is in small animal oncology. Dr. Carter truly enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and is greatly committed to strengthening the human-animal bond. Dr. Carter's treatment recommendations are centered on the patient's quality of life and strive to give each family more time with their beloved pet.
Dr. Carter recently moved to Southern California and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son, and adorable Labrador, Apollo. During her free time, she loves traveling and adventuring with her family and friends.
