Gina was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She got her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from University of Florida. She got her DVM from Ross University, while going to Ohio State University for her clinicals. Prior to joining us in 2022, she was a relief veterinarian at many general practice, emergency, and shelter medicine locations. Some of her special interests include surgical emergencies and shelter medicine. She has a Yellow Lab named Zeus and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Harvey. Some of her hobbies include reading, traveling, cooking, and exploring new hiking trails with her dogs. She also likes to volunteer with several organizations and rescues in the Indianapolis area.
