Special Interests/Expertise: Oncologic and soft tissue surgery, minimally invasive surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Research/Lectures/Publications: Dan has lectured and published on gastric dilatation-volvulus syndrome in dogs, liver and adrenal surgery, facial and oral surgery, and peripheral nerve sheath tumors in dogs.

Pets: Deacon, a 12 year old male yellow Labrador retriever; Willow, a one year old female shepherd mix; Bernie, an adult male former blood donor cat; Tucker and Owen, four year old male brother kitties; and Luna, a female Guinea pig.

Personal Facts: Dan moved around some while growing up, but his favorite place was the Lac du Poisson Blanc, in Quebec. Dan enjoys Star Trek and the Simpsons, playing ice hockey, and spending lots of great time with family.
