Dr. Wingerd enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, but she has a special interest in immune-mediated diseases, feline medicine, and endoscopic procedures.

Pets:
Two Siberian cats: Penelope and Franklin. Penelope is cranky, but perfect, and Franklin is a sweet, orange guy.

Personal Facts:

As a Virginia native, Dr. Wingerd is happy to be home after completing a three-year internal medicine residency in San Diego, California. She is also excited to be working with the SouthPaws family again! Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and pets, traveling, and cooking.
