Admiral Beaumont von Barkington III, an adult mixed breed dog, rescued as a puppy from a shelter that was being closed due to lack of funding.

Personal Facts:
Matt is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He enjoys cycling, running, sailing, and just about anything outdoors. Other interests include, cooking, restoration projects, and woodworking, and he has recently completed his second bamboo bike frame. In his free time, his is most happy spending time with his family.

Welcome to VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center's Diagnostic Imaging Department.

With four board-certified radiologists working exclusively from this location, and a full complement of imaging systems, our radiology department is the best-staffed one in this area, allowing us to provide the most complete and comprehensive imaging for anatomy and function available.

Our diagnostic imaging services include:

  • Ultrasonography (abdominal, thoracic, soft tissue)
  • Ultrasound guided needle aspirates and biopsies
  • Digital radiology (standard xray and contrast procedures)
  • Digital fluoroscopy (moving or 'live-action' radiographic studies)
  • 2D/3D spiral CT scanning
