Dr. Hilty is originally from Houston, Texas. She studied environmental science at the University of Texas in Austin, TX for her undergraduate education. She then attended Colorado State University, where she received a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine as part of a combined degree program.
Dr. Hilty's interests are in wildlife/conservation medicine and small animal emergency medicine. She has a particular interest in chimpanzee conservation, but has enjoyed working with various species in sanctuaries, zoos, and in the wild. Outside of work, Dr. Hilty loves pottery, climbing, and reading. She is excited to spend more time in Colorado and get to know the Denver area this year!
