Dr. Im, a bubbly native southerner, who grew up in Georgia and graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (GO DAWGS!) for her Doctorate degree. Dr. Im has a special interest in Diagnostic Imaging and Surgery; however, she plans on pursuing a residency in Diagnostic Imaging.  

"I love all aspects of veterinary medicine especially Diagnostic Imaging because all the specialty services revolve around it. I enjoy working and learning alongside two of our board-certified radiologists and collaborating with our specialists here at VCA NWVS. They're always willing to teach here," said Dr. Im. 

Dr. Im is living away from Georgia for the first time, but she will always be a Georgia Dawg. When she is not stuck to a computer screen reading images, she enjoys exploring new places to eat with friends along with a host of other hobbies listed below. She's excited to explore the Pacific Northwest, especially the different food carts!

• Despite being 5'1, in her heart, she's 6'11. 
• Dr. Im volunteers for Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever rescues and has a special passion for geriatric Goldens and labs. She adopted her Golden from Tennessee, who started veterinary school alongside her and Charlie, her cat, from South Carolina that she spayed herself.

• Hiking, kayaking, traveling, volleyball, spending time with her animals, culinary adventures, traveling to new countries
