Paula is originally from Puerto Rico. She completed her undergraduate studies in General Biology at the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamón and was a student-athlete on the dance team. She recently graduated from St. George's University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University.
Paula's main professional interest is in diagnostic imaging, and she plans to specialize in this field through a residency program after completing her internship year. Paula is also passionate about spay and neuter clinics and dreams of contributing to mass spay/neuter efforts back home in Puerto Rico.
Outside of work, she loves spending time in nature, especially at the beach, snorkeling and scuba diving. She also enjoys hiking, dancing, boxing, solving puzzles, and discovering new coffee shops. Paula is excited to join the team and can't wait to learn from everyone!
