Dr. Hardy was born in Oakland, California, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended the University of California, Davis, graduating in 1986 with highest honors and received a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences with a minor in English. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Claire joined VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in March 2005 and has special interests in feline medicine, family practice, and surgery.
In her time away from the clinic, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their two children, Ian and Michaela. She also enjoys reading, any kind of water sport, skiing, and mountain biking.
