Originally from Manchester, England, Dr. Katie Jones completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at the University of Calgary. She has a strong interest in emergency and critical care, general practice, exotic and zoo medicine, and high-volume spay/neuter surgery.
Dr. Jones shares her home with Shadow the rabbit, Nova the snake, and Azra the blue-tongue skink, all of which have inspired her passion for caring for a wide variety of species.
She is excited to join the team at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and to explore all that California has to offer, including the close proximity to the ocean! Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys traveling the world, discovering new cultures, scuba diving, and hiking.
