Dr. Danielle Tran was born and raised in Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. She went on to complete a rotating internship and a residency in diagnostic imaging at the Animal Medical Center in New York City before happily returning home to join the team at VCA West Los Angeles.
Dr. Tran is trained in all diagnostic imaging modalities, with particular interests in ultrasound and computed tomography, and she enjoys teaching and mentoring veterinary students and interns.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it is hiking and camping in the mountains or running on the strand along the beach. She also loves being a homebody, where she can be found reading and relaxing with her cat, Zoey.
