Dr. Jack Blomberg grew up in Claremont, CA, known as the "City of Trees and PhDs." He earned his BS in biology at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY (Po-town), and later received both his MS in animal sciences focusing on epigenetic reprogramming in diabetes and his DVM from the University of Arizona. He is currently interested in specializing in neurology or surgery, but is entering his small animal rotating internship at VCA WLA with an open mind. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking with his dog Blu, swimming in the ocean, skateboarding, camping, mountain biking, playing and watching soccer, and eating good food!
