Dr. Jordan Denitz is a board certified veterinary radiation oncologist and proud to be part of the team at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he earned his undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Following graduation, he completed a year-long rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Colorado State University, and then a three-year residency in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Dr. Denitz is passionate about working closely with families to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for each of his patients. He brings clinical expertise in all forms of radiation therapy, including conventionally fractionated radiation, palliative protocols, and stereotactic radiation techniques (SRT/SBRT/SRS), offering a range of therapeutic options tailored to each patient's clinical condition. He believes in an integrated approach to cancer therapy, working closely with other disciplines to offer the best care possible.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Denitz enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children, and their beloved dog, Lima. He is a licensed pilot with a lifelong love for aviation, an avid sports fan, and is a self-proclaimed foodie. He's thrilled to be back in his hometown and is committed to delivering exceptional, empathetic care to the pets and people of Los Angeles.
