Dr. Madyson Marcolina earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary nurse at VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center, experiences that helped strengthen her passion for veterinary medicine and patient care.
Born and raised in Colorado and later spending six years living in Hawaii, Dr. Marcolina considers both places home. She brings a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients and their families.
Dr. Marcolina has a strong professional interest in specialty surgery and hopes to pursue a surgical residency following her internship. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and surgical skills while caring for patients across a wide range of medical conditions.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Marcolina enjoys spending time outdoors and near the ocean. Her favorite activities include freediving, paddleboarding, reading in a hammock, biking, practicing yoga, and dancing. She credits her beloved grey tabby cat, Marley, with inspiring and strengthening her passion for veterinary medicine.
