Dr. Sophie Buelow earned her undergraduate degree in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UCLA before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of California, Davis. Originally from California's Central Coast, she developed a love for animals and the outdoors at an early age.
Dr. Buelow's professional interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and she plans to pursue a surgical residency as she continues to advance her training. She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while building strong relationships with pet owners and colleagues.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Buelow enjoys hiking, camping, and painting. She also shares her home with Rosie, her sassy calico cat, who keeps her entertained and on her toes.
