VCA SouthPaws, 2020-2021
In February 2020, we adopted Rex. He was originally from Italy and was trained for their special service, but did not make the cut because he was too affectionate. His previous owner flew him from Italy to the U.S. but could no longer keep him. It was perfect timing. Rex and I spent every day during that COVID quarantine period running and hiking together.
I am \a native of Vietnam and moved to the States in 2009. In 2010, my dog was hit by a car and it was not until then that I learned about veterinary medicine, and I knew at that moment that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I started volunteer at a local emergency vet clinic and had fallen in love with emergency medicine since.
I was born and raised in Vietnam.
